Hello there from The Bruery!  It’s been a busy week here, as we’re gearing up for a VERY busy few weeks.  We were thinking it might be fun to have a little something special this weekend at the Tasting Room to keep us going.

So, I’ve been sorely missing Cuvée Jeune recently.  It’s our young lambic aged in Chardonnay barrels that was originally released in March.  Since then it’s made the occasional appearance in the Tasting Room or at special events, but I think it’s been too long.  So we’re going to break it out again this weekend, because – well why not?

In addition, you can still pick up bottles of 100% Barrel Aged Autumn Maple (Thanksgiving is coming quick!) as well as the recently released bottles of Two Turtle Doves.

For those of you who haven’t heard, our winter seasonal is a deliciously rich Belgian dark ale brewed with toasted pecans and cocoa nibs.  I have to say, it’s especially enjoyable on these chillier days and nights.

We also have Rugbrød on draft, which is our take on a Danish-style holiday ale.  It’s a big, malty beer brewed with rye and clocks in at 8%.  It’s another great beer to warm up after the coolest week of the season so far!

When you come in this weekend, you’ll probably notice some new faces at the Tasting Room.  We have a few new members on staff at the bar, so come in and say hello!  Amy is a homebrewer with a biology and chemistry background who can definitely talk some beer science, and some of you may have met Jarred this past weekend.  He’s a beer-loving musician who seriously appreciates great suds.  We’re excited to have new and knowledgeable staff to help serve at The Bruery.

Finally, keep your eyes open for more details about the Bruery Reserve Society.  I can’t tell you all the secrets yet, but I can say you’re definitely going to want in.

That’s about all for today.  We’re really looking forward to the next few weeks, and hope to see you this weekend!
